Our
resident DJ team take the controls on headline duty
to mash up all our favourite sounds – everything
from Latin, Afrobeat, hip-hop, reggae, soul, funk,
dubstep and so on will be in the mix. On the live
front we welcome Glasgow’s 10-piece dub-machine
Captain Slackship’s Mezzanine Allstars in from the
high seas for some party action. Joining them our
favourite batteria Edinburgh Samba School bring the
ruckus carnival style. This date is always maximum
fun!

Departure Lounge we always like to treat our loyal
punters – and this time we’ve really gone to town.
In conjunction with the Edinburgh Jazz & Blues
Festival we’ve helped put together a fantastic
line-up for a Sunday Summer’s Evening. One of the
UK’s true pioneer bands and first rate live act The
Bays headline a night of extraordinary musical
progression that also feature Edinburgh’s own Hidden
Orchesta (formerly Joe Acheson Quartet – now on the
verge of huge acclaim) and the talented cosmic
beat-maker Asthmatic Astronaut.

(formerly The Cellar Bar, Chambers Street) in Edinburgh! In
conjunction with Erik Da Viking from
Trouble, Astroboy presents a weekly jazz, funk,
hip-hop and Latin session for headz and dancers. Every week
we present a band picked from Scotland's top talent across a
range genres, but always funky and always good.
